The Village Hall and the parcel of land upon which it is situated is held in Trust by the Parish Council who is responsible for its maintenance and repair, improvement, insurance, rates and taxes; the costs of which are funded through its annual budget (Precept), the proceeds from the village bottle and paper banks or through Community Levy Funding (CIL).  CIL funding is money that the Parish Council receives when there is new development in the village and which can only be used for the benefit for all those living in that community.

The Village Hall Committee was set up in 1995, with its own constitution, to deal with the day to day running of the hall which includes some basic maintenance, payment of utility bills, purchasing of equipment, cleaning and to be responsible for bookings and arranging community events.  As well as community events, the Village Hall is used for weekly pilates classes, WI meetings and informal church services.
