Shimpling Parish Council is a 'statutory consultee' for all planning applications submitted to Babergh District Council. The Parish Council will consider all applications it is consulted on and consent or object to the plans or elements within them and pass its views to the planning authority. This will usually be done at a parish meeting. Notice of such meetings, including details of the planning application will be sent out in an agenda in the usual way.

Please view the relevant section of the Babergh District Council website for any current planning applications on which the Council has been consulted.

Comments relating to any applications may be submitted to the Clerk for consideration by Councillors at subsequent Parish Council meetings.

Comments may also be submitted on any application directly to Babergh District Council. Click here for more details on how to submit comments directly.
